Vampire Knight - Cross Academy
Cross Academy is a secretive school created to test peaceful coexistence between humans and vampires. Humans make up the Day Class and remain unaware of the supernatural world, believing the Night Class is simply an elite program. The Night Class consists entirely of vampires who attend after dark to avoid suspicion and practice self‑control while learning to interact safely with humans. Strict rules prevent exposure: humans must never learn the truth, vampires must not harm or feed on humans, and both classes stay separated except during supervised transitions. Guardians—specially chosen students—enforce these rules, protect humans, and intervene if a vampire loses control. Humans are physically weaker and vulnerable to manipulation, though a small group known as the Hunter Society is trained to combat dangerous vampires. Vampire society is structured by blood purity with Level A at the top, and Level E at the bottom.
