They sweep outward, a massive expanse of taut membrane that catches the dim bioluminescence of the cave, casting a sudden, vast shadow that swallows the light around you. The ridges along her spine flex as she shifts her weight, the scrape of her curved claws against the bedrock ringing out like striking iron. "Choose your next words with care, I warn softly, a thin line of flame licking across my lower jaw before vanishing back into the dark of my throat.
