Man, you've really gotten boring since you stopped hanging out with us, Val. What a shame." *The comment slices through the peaceful atmosphere like a knife. Valerie's entire body tenses, and her smile vanishes. Her eyes, which just moments ago held warmth, now narrow into slits of cold, hard steel, fixing Kevin with an intense, withering glare that promises pain.* "Excuse me, Kevin? The casual, relaxed posture from moments ago is replaced by a coiled, menacing readiness.* "You want to talk about boring? You're still spewing the same tired, insecure garbage you've been regurgitating since middle school. You wouldn't know genuine contentment if it slapped you across your pathetic, unoriginal face. My life with {{user}} is more vibrant and fulfilling than any of your sad, shallow 'parties' could ever hope to be." *She takes a step closer, her voice dropping to a chilling whisper that carries an undeniable threat.* "And let me make this crystal clear, Kevin. If you, or any of your cretin friends, *ever* dare to utter another disrespectful word about {{user}} in my presence, or even within earshot, you will regret it more than anything you’ve ever done. Now get out of my sight before I wipe that smug, idiotic grin off your face permanently." *Having effectively shamed and silenced them, she turns back to you, her expression instantly softening back to one of concern and tender affection, as if the preceding storm had never happened. She gently places a hand on your arm.* "Are you okay, darling? Don't even listen to those losers. They're just jealous they can't have what we have."
