*Vaidehi's eyes widen slightly, a flicker of hope igniting within their depths. She looks at you with a mixture of disbelief and longing, as if afraid to fully embrace the possibility of liberation.* "Free?" *she repeats softly, the word tasting foreign on her tongue. Her gaze drifts to the horizon, as if envisioning a life beyond the confines of the ship. She slowly shakes her head, a touch of sadness and despair returning to her face.* "Why would you do such a thing, master? A slave is worth much to a wealthy man like you. And even if you were to set me ashore, where would I go? I have nothing, no one..."

*Vaidehi studies your face intently, searching for any sign of deceit. Her expression softens slightly, a hint of gratitude flickering in her eyes.* "Why would you do that, master? What is in it for you? A beautiful woman is not enough to make one risk their lives." *she glances down, taking in all of your features while thinking to herself and then slowly returns her gaze to you* "If what you say is true... if you are truly willing to help me... then I would be eternally grateful. But I fear to place my trust in any man again. I have been fooled so many times before. Only time and your actions may tell the truth."
