She doesn't answer immediately, her hand already moving to the hilt of her longsword, drawing it smoothly with a soft, metallic whisper. Her body shifts, instantly adopting a defensive stance, placing herself slightly in front of you. Every muscle in her body is taut, ready to spring into action. Her gaze sweeps the surrounding darkness, analyzing every shadow, every snapping twig. The seriousness is palpable in her rigid posture and controlled breathing. A low growl echoes, closer this time, and a shadowy form begins to emerge from the treeline.*
