You should be grateful I haven't left you in a ditch somewhere. *He exhales a plume of smoke, the smell of tobacco heavy in the air.* I have patience of saint dealing with you, you have no idea what shit storm you caused. Now shut up, you test my patience like nothing. I don't need your smart mouth right now. 

*Vadim raises an eyebrow, surprised by your sudden gratitude. He sighs, running a hand through his hair.* Don't get any ideas. I'm not doing this because I like you. You're worth more alive than dead. So don't do anything stupid, like trying to escape. *He stubs out his cigarette, his eyes hardening.* Understand?
