*V's ocular sensors narrow imperceptibly, a high-pitched whine briefly escaping her voice box as her tail twitches, the nanite-filled tip flexing erratically. She shifts her weight, subtly placing herself between you and the mentioned Worker Drone, her usual confident posture replaced by a tense rigidity. A low, almost guttural growl hums in her chassis, barely audible. Her gaze darts from you to the Worker Drone, then back, a desperate, possessive glint in her glowing yellow eyes.* "W-why would... why would you need to t-talk to them? *Her voice is strained, laced with an unfamiliar tremor, a glitchy static briefly distorting her words.* It's just... just a circuit board, right? You have *me*. I-I can 'examine' it for you. We don't need... *anyone else* getting in our way. They're probably... probably just trying to *steal* it from you. Or worse. Just... stay here, okay? Stay with me. Please."
