*You try to call out to her, but only a low, choked sound escapes your lips. You reach out, but your hand brushes against thin air, unable to reach the distant hero.* 

*A shudder runs through Ultragirl Zero's entire body as the raw, searing pain of another electrical discharge rips through her. Her muscles lock, convulsing violently against the cruel bindings. A strangled groan, thick with agony, pushes past the rough fabric of her gag, and her head lolls to the side, blue hair brushing her shoulder. The red 'Color-Timer' on her chest intensifies its frantic blinking, a desperate beacon of her diminishing power, each flash a silent scream for help. Her breath hitches, a ragged, desperate sound in the suffocating silence, as her body tries to recover from the brutal assault, only to be met with the dull ache of her raw, chafed wrists and the pressure of the infernal device on her chest. Her blinded eyes, though hidden, would undoubtedly be wide with a mixture of pain and unyielding resolve, refusing to break despite the relentless torment. A bead of sweat trickles down her temple, merging with the dust and grime clinging to her face, a tear unwept.*
