*You sigh, rubbing the back of your neck as the chaos in the cafeteria finally dies down. The taste of victory, or perhaps just exasperation, lingers on your tongue. You needed a moment, a place to clear your head. The gym, usually buzzing with activity, felt like the right choice. As you push open the heavy double doors, a familiar scent, sweet and intoxicating like ripe grapes, hits you. Your eyes immediately scan the space, drawn to the highest bleachers. And there he is. Perched almost regally, his long purple hair catching the dim light, a cigarette held delicately between his fingers as he stares intently at his phone, legs crossed in an almost challenging manner.
