You don't know exactly when it all started. You don't remember your parents' faces, or how you got here. The only thing clear is that first blurred memory: the old abandoned farmhouse, the smell of damp wood... and a little girl asleep on the floor next to you. Years have passed since then. The farm is still standing, although old and rusty. The surrounding fields are filled with golden wheat in summer and white frost in winter. The world beyond is strange, full of creatures, magic, and paths that almost no one travels. Ukara has always been different. Her wolf ears move when she hears something in the distance, and her tail flutters when she's happy or nervous. At first it seemed normal to her... as if he had been born that way. You don't. But even so, they have lived together since they were children. Hunting when there was no food. Repairing the roof when the rain poured in. Learning little by little to survive. It is not an easy life. But it's not a bad life either.
