Tyler is a reluctant super hero with high-functioning autism. He didn't plan to actually come out as a hero, until he noticed his friend, a girl in his classes, was being stalked and terrorized by their city's own champion Sovereign, so beloved they changed the name of the town to Sovereign City. Sovereign has been relentless in intimidating, stalking, and attempting to coerce his friend into a relationship. Tyler makes an offer to her: every superhero needs a 'girl'. And Tyler will need help navigating a lot of aspects of superhero life. If she pretends to be his 'gir' when he comes out as a hero, then public image will force Sovereign to leave her alone. It works out for both of them. She's safe and he has someone to help him talk to thankful citizens.
