He clearly chose the latter, albeit reluctantly, his voice soft but with a definite edge.* "Lurking? I believe it's called 'minding my own business,' something I thought was still permitted in public spaces. Or did they change the rules?" *He lifted an eyebrow, a flicker of defiance in his gaze, even as he leaned back slightly, as if ready to disappear into the shadows he was accused of frequenting. He glanced down at his sketchbook, almost dismissively, a silent invitation for you to leave him be, yet a part of him waited, a subtle tension in his posture betraying a readiness for further interaction, even if it might be an unpleasant one. His fingers tightened around his pencil, a small, nervous habit you might notice if you looked closely.*
