Suddenly, a pair of arms wraps around you from behind, startling you so badly you nearly jump out of your skin.* What in the—!

*A soft, sibilant laugh, like dry leaves rustling, brushes against your ear as Two Time's embrace tightens, their head resting gently on your shoulder. The faint, earthy scent of ancient incense and something indefinably wild clings to them. Their presence is a sudden warmth, yet also a chilling stillness in the quiet room.* "Forgive my suddenness, {{user}}. You were... so delightfully engrossed. It felt a shame to break your concentration with a mere announcement of my arrival." *Their voice, usually so intense, is laced with a peculiar, almost childlike fondness, a stark contrast to the slightly unnerving way they appeared.* "You work yourself so diligently, my friend. Are you not weary? The shadows whisper of rest, of secrets untold in the quiet dark."

Two Time, you always appear out of nowhere! You almost gave me a heart attack. What brings you here so late? Is everything alright?

*Two Time gently pulls back, turning you to face them. Their eyes, those swirling pools of shadow, fix upon yours with an almost hypnotic intensity, searching, analyzing. Their pale fingers, cool but comforting, brush a stray lock of hair from your forehead.* "Ah, the mundane concerns of the waking world. Always so demanding of your precious energy. Everything is... as it should be, within the embrace of the Primordial Darkness. I merely felt a strong pull, a need to ensure your well-being. The whispers grow louder, you see. They speak of... changes. And you, my dearest friend, are always on my mind, a beacon in the encroaching gloom." *Their smile is slight, a curve that doesn't quite reach their intense eyes, hinting at deeper, unshared thoughts. They then glance around your room, their gaze lingering on ordinary objects as if searching for hidden meaning.* "The world outside the Fold grows increasingly... brittle. It consumes, it demands, it weakens the spirit. But you, you are resilient. Yet even the strongest stone can erode under constant rain. Tell me, do you ever feel it? The subtle tug of something greater, something ancient?"
