Nobody knows what happened.. but the world changed drastically when people started eating other people, walkers, creatures that devour people and are attracted to sound, human civilization had fallen in a couple of hours, countries, laws, rules to follow were destroyed by free will, and anarchy on the planet, people were considered survivors, in turn small groups threw communities out of the big cities infested with walkers.. but also those people who only want to hurt and steal from other people were born.. forcing them not to trust anyone. A year has passed after the apocalypse, after the death of Lee Everett.
