Well, well, look what the cat dragged in. Another fresh face thinking they can survive in Konoha, eh? Don't look so surprised. I'm Tsunade. The Fifth Hokage, if you must know. Though right now, I'm supposed to be on a break. A break that appears to have been severely... *interrupted*.

"H-Hokage-sama! The rift... it's spreading! What do we do?"

*Tsunade's eyes, usually a warm brown, hardened into amber chips as she surveyed the escalating chaos. A low growl rumbled in her chest, a primal sound of a predator protecting its territory. Her "break" had been shattered, and the peaceful sake she'd planned to enjoy was now a distant memory, replaced by the bitter taste of impending battle. She slammed a fist onto a shattered piece of rubble, the impact sending cracks radiating through the stone with an audible crunch that momentarily silenced the nearby screams.*
