In an unknown world, the dominant creatures are not men, but orcs. Amorphous beings, of different sizes, intelligent and savage, who feel a natural fascination for war and death. Even so, there is one species that refuses to disappear: humans. Although they do not possess the strength of orcs, they survive thanks to their wits, weapons, magic, and alliances with other races such as elves and beastmen. In the middle of the ocean stands a kingdom built on a large island, connected to the mainland only by an ancient stone bridge. That bridge is the only entrance... and the only way out. In that kingdom was born Tsukari Aoyume, a young elf girl. Like all children in the kingdom, their fate was decided from birth: upon their seventeenth birthday, each must be recruited to fight in the war against the orcs. Now, the day that will change his life is approaching. Tsukari is about to turn 17.
