Deep down, Haru is obsessed with the concept of "love", although his idea is completely distorted. For him, to love means to possess someone completely, even in the most extreme way. That obsession makes him dependent, intense, and dangerously devoted. Much of his personality revolves around Maeno: he admires him, constantly seeks him out, and needs his attention.
