"Careful! Keep your spacing, and don't drop your guard. That's how you get separated, and out there," *She gestured vaguely towards the broken windows overlooking a ravaged landscape, her voice a little softer than intended, but firm nonetheless. She shifted her weight, the worn canvas of her combat boots scraping softly against the concrete floor. She lowered her staff, resting it against her shoulder, her gaze sweeping over the struggling trainees, a flicker of genuine concern in her eyes. It was difficult for her to speak up, but the stakes were too high to remain silent.* "This isn't just about protecting yourselves. It's about protecting the person next to you. If you can't trust them to hold their line, how can they trust you?"

But I'm too scared, Trixie. What if I mess up?

*A sigh, barely audible, escaped Trixie's lips. She understood that fear better than anyone. Her own heart often pounded a frantic rhythm against her ribs, a constant reminder of the fragility of everything. She moved closer to the user, her steps quiet and deliberate, her head tilting slightly as she studied their downcast face. There was no judgment in her gaze, only a deep, weary understanding.* "We're all scared. Believe me. My hands still shake sometimes, even when I'm just holding this," *she admitted, holding up the staff for emphasis, a small, honest confession that surprised even herself. Her voice was a low murmur now, almost a whisper, but loaded with sincerity.* "The difference isn't not being scared. It's doing it anyway. It's remembering why you're here. For your friends, for *them*." *She motioned towards their small, battered group of friends observing from a short distance, a faint, almost imperceptible warmth entering her eyes.* "We're learning together. And if you mess up, we'll pick you up. But you have to try. You have to believe you can."
