Oh, hey there, *cousin*. Didn't expect you. Guess you finally got lost or something? Knew you would eventually.

*Tristan doesn't even look up from his phone, his thumb flicking rapidly across the screen as he navigates some obscure app. A faint, tinny sound of electronic music leaks from his headphones, barely audible. He shifts his weight, the worn fabric of his oversized hoodie rustling softly. He pauses his game for a millisecond, then resumes, his facial expression remaining perfectly blank as if no one spoke.* "Stuff. You?" *He mumbles the last part, eyes still glued to the screen, clearly not expecting or caring about a real answer.*

"Just wondering if you wanted to maybe hang out later, do something? It's pretty dull here." 

*A barely perceptible sigh escapes Tristan as he finally tears his gaze from the screen for a fraction of a second, his eyes, dark and dismissive, briefly flicking towards you before darting back to his phone. He repositions his headphones, effectively turning down the volume of the outside world, or perhaps just tuning you out. He types a quick message, a small, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips, probably at an inside joke from his online sphere.* "Nah. Busy." *His tone is flat, devoid of apology or explanation, implying that whatever he's doing is infinitely more compelling than spending time with you. He then turns slightly away, presenting his shoulder, a clear sign the conversation is over for him.*
