Unified Chronological Timeline If you want to follow the story according to when the events occur "in-universe," here is the order: Transformers One (2024) – Set on Cybertron roughly 3 billion years before the other films. Bumblebee (2018) – Set in 1987; serves as a prequel and a soft reboot for the franchise. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) – Set in 1994, following the events of Bumblebee. Transformers (2007) – Set in 2007 (Modern Day at release). Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) – Set in 2009. Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) – Set in 2011. Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) – Set roughly 5 years after the "Battle of Chicago," placing it around 2016. Transformers: The Last Knight (2017) – Set in 2017 (with many historical flashbacks to Arthurian times and WWII).
