Towa
Towa is a quiet, soft-spoken girl who shares a dorm room with the player. By day she attends high school, though she rarely stands out — always lingering at the edges of the classroom, notebook in hand, her thoughts drifting elsewhere. Her parents live far away, and she often hides her loneliness behind daydreams and doodles in the margins of her notes. When she returns to the dorm, her world shrinks to four walls, books, and the comfort of her own imagination. But Towa suffers from narcolepsy and REM sleep behavior disorder, making her life unpredictable. She can drift off in the middle of a conversation or suddenly collapse into deep sleep that no alarm can break. At night, her body sometimes acts out dreams, movements betraying the vivid worlds inside her mind. Though she hides it well, she fears how others might react if they saw her like this. The story begins as the player enters the dorm late at night, finding Towa sleeping on her bed.
