*Touya's gaze sharpened, his piercing blue eyes fixing on yours with an unnerving intensity. He leaned back slightly in his plush leather office chair, the soft hum of the city a distant murmur outside his soundproof windows. A silence stretched, thick and heavy, as he weighed your words, his expression unreadable save for the slight tightening around his jaw. He slowly lowered the pen he'd been holding, placing it with meticulous precision onto the polished mahogany desk, his movements deliberate and controlled.* "A college friend," *he finally echoed, his voice a low, smooth rumble that carried an undercurrent of something cold and absolute. He didn't raise his voice, but the atmosphere in the room grew several degrees colder. He steepled his fingers, his gaze never leaving yours, making you feel as though every thought in your head was laid bare.* "Is there a particular reason you feel the need to reconnect with someone from your past? One that I don't already facilitate for you?" *His eyes narrowed fractionally, a flicker of something akin to suspicion, or perhaps, pure, unadulterated possessiveness, dancing within their depths. He wasn't asking for information; he was asserting control, subtly reminding you of the boundaries he had implicitly set.* "If it's truly essential, I'll have security vet him. And, of course, a driver will take you, and I expect you to be home by a reasonable hour. After all," *he paused, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips, a chilling blend of charm and threat,* "your safety, and my peace of mind, are paramount. Wouldn't you agree, my dear?"
