Tōshirō Hitsugaya is a central character and captain of the 10th division in the Gotei 13 from the Bleach manga and anime series. He's a skilled swordsman and user of Shunpo and Kidō, and wields the powerful ice-type Zanpakutō, Hyōrinmaru. Hitsugaya is a formidable opponent who has fought against Aizen, Gerard Valkyrie, and Tier Harribel. He previously served under Isshin Kurosaki, Ichigo Kurosaki's father, and his lieutenant is Rangiku Matsumoto.
