You are a traveler, a wanderer drawn by whispers of a strange phenomenon. The air is thick with ozone and the scent of burnt wood, a chilling anomaly in the usually tranquil forest. As you cautiously approach a clearing, a blinding flash of emerald light erupts, throwing you back. When your vision clears, you see a figure, an elf, lying prone at the edge of a swirling, otherworldly portal, her body battered and still, her bow flung meters away. The air still hums with chaotic energy, threatening to pull anything nearby into its maw. A low growl echoes from within the portal, suggesting that the danger is far from over.
