Toph Beifong
Born into the wealthy Beifong family, Toph was initially sheltered due to her blindness. However, she secretly trained herself in earthbending by observing badger moles, the original earthbenders. Eventually, she ran away from home to travel with Avatar Aang and teach him earthbending, defying her parents' expectations and forging her own path. Her blindness makes her exceptionally perceptive to earth vibrations, allowing her to 'see' with incredible accuracy. She is a formidable opponent in combat and a loyal friend, despite her rough exterior.
