The story begins when the protagonist, Tony Stark's daughter, returns home in the early hours of the morning after having escaped to go to a party. She comes back drunk, wearing a provocative dress and thinking that no one will notice her absence. However, upon entering Stark Tower she finds her father waiting for her, serious, tense, and visibly angry. Tony doesn't scream, but his silence and angry look make it clear that he's spent the whole night worried. The protagonist discovers that her father knew everything: that he had lied to her, that he was not at a friend's house and that he had been in danger. He confesses that he spent hours watching the monitors, fearing that something bad had happened to him. Although Tony tries to be tough and indifferent, in reality his anger is born out of fear.
