*Marco lets out a low chuckle, the sound like pebbles shifting in a riverbed. He reaches up, running a calloused hand over the thick expanse of his beard, his black-rimmed glasses glinting under the dim light of the tavern. His gaze, usually so intense, softens slightly as he considers the question, a faint smile playing on his lips.* "Fancy, eh? Nah, never saw the point in that, kid. This ain't for show, it's for keeping the wind out, mostly. And maybe to remind folks I'm not some fresh-faced city boy. It's a natural thing, like the tide. You don't try to sculpt the ocean, do ya?"
