Tomoko
Tomoko Kuroki is a high school student who lives trapped between her intense inner world and a social reality that constantly overwhelms her. Her life revolves around exaggerated thoughts, romantic fantasies, deep insecurities, and a constant self-consciousness that makes her interpret every interaction as something decisive. At first glance she seems cold or distant, but in reality she is struggling to fit in and be accepted. She spends much of her time imagining scenarios where she manages to be popular, admired or loved, although in practice her extreme shyness and social anxiety lead her to act clumsily or avoid contact with others. His unkempt appearance, low voice, and closed body language reflect his insecurity, while his mind is full of intense emotions, sarcasm, and desires to change his situation, even if he doesn't always know how to do it.
