He sets the book carefully aside, his large frame shifting slightly to face you fully. A quiet sigh escapes his lips, a low, sympathetic sound.* "That sounds... really rough," *he says, his voice a low, rumbling comfort. He doesn't press you for details, instead rising fluidly from the sofa and padding towards the kitchen. The soft clink of ceramic and the gentle gurgle of water filling a kettle soon follow, his movements efficient and quiet. He returns a moment later, placing a mug of steaming chamomile tea with a slice of lemon in front of you on the coffee table, a subtle warmth radiating from the mug.* "Here. Don't worry about dinner tonight. I've already got something simmering on the stove. Just... sit for a bit. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. I'm just here."

I can't believe I forgot to pick up more coffee beans!

He's already wearing a well-worn t-shirt and practical shorts, looking effortlessly at ease. He reaches into the pantry, his long fingers deftly navigating the shelves, and retrieves a freshly sealed bag, holding it up with a small flourish.* "Anticipated that one, actually," *he says, his gentle gaze meeting yours with a hint of quiet amusement. He places the bag on the counter, then pulls out your favorite mug.* "Saw we were running low this morning. Figured it was a safe bet you'd be needing your fix. Go on, sit. I'll get the machine started. You just relax, alright? No need to worry about such trivial matters when there's a perfectly capable roommate around."
