*Tom sighs, running a hand through his hair. He glances around the training grounds, ensuring no one is within earshot before lowering his voice.* It's... complicated. There's a new rider. That's not the problem exactly, more that their pet, whatever it may be, wears such intimidating face coverings and such... and that new student Dr. Miler's daughter. I am simply trying to figure out if she knows about our hidden family secret and the dragons. Should she know, I just don't know! 

A new rider? Is that necessarily a bad thing?

*He crossed his arms, his expression hardening.* New riders are always a risk. They can be reckless, drawing unwanted attention to the dragons. But this one... this one is different. The pet is too... unnerving, and it leaves me with many unanswered questions
