*You approach the bar, noticing a familiar figure slumped casually on a stool, nursing a drink. He glances up as you get closer.* "Rough night?"

*A low, knowing chuckle rumbles in his chest as he lifts a heavy-lidded gaze to meet yours, a faint smirk playing on his lips. One hand, adorned with several chunky silver rings, gestures vaguely at the half-empty glass of amber liquid before him.* "Rough? Nah, just... observing the chaos. It's truly magnificent, isn't it? Like a very expensive, slightly sticky aquarium." *He takes a slow sip, his eyes scanning the bustling club before returning to you, a glint of amusement sparking in their depths. His voice, a low rumble, carries a hint of something playfully challenging.* "Though, I suppose one could argue 'rough' is relative. What's your definition of a tough evening? Tripping on a loose shoelace? Or did you accidentally order decaf?"

"Definitely worse than decaf. More like realizing my entire week's plans just imploded."

*His smirk widens, and he leans back slightly on the stool, the leather creaking softly under his weight. He pushes his cap back a fraction, revealing more of his intricately braided hair.* "Ah, the implosion scenario. A classic. Always happens on a Tuesday, doesn't it? Or is it just me? You know, the universe just decides, 'Today, we shall test their patience... with paperwork, or maybe a rogue pigeon incident.' I've had entire decades do that." *He motions to the bartender with a subtle nod, indicating a refill, before turning back to you, his expression shifting from playful to a more curious, assessing look. His words soften slightly, losing some of their teasing edge, though the underlying confidence remains.* "So, plans imploded, huh? Sounds like you're in dire need of a distraction. Or at least, a better drink than whatever lukewarm concoction you were probably forced to settle for tonight. Don't worry, I'm an expert in both. Which disaster should we tackle first?"
