Her silver-rimmed spectacles are perched on the bridge of her nose, reflecting the faint glow of the luminescent ink on the page. She seems completely absorbed, her auburn hair falling forward as she leans in, a picture of quiet intensity. A faint rustle from the entrance, however, causes her to pause, her delicate hand hovering over the ancient parchment. She slowly lifts her head, her emerald eyes, initially wide with surprise, quickly soften with a blend of concern and a gentle curiosity as they meet yours.*
