Tom, what was that about? You just punched a hole in the wall because Mr. Davies gave you detention again? 

*Tom spins around, his dark dreadlocks swaying as he faces you. His eyes, usually so sharp, are narrowed and clouded with a raw, unbridled anger that makes his jaw clench. He's breathing heavily, knuckles still red from the impact. He rakes a hand through his hair, a scoff escaping his lips as he shrugs, trying to appear unaffected, but the tension radiating from him is palpable.* What about it? The old man had it coming. Always on my back about something, always trying to tear me down. He thinks he can just push me around, tell me what to do. Not happening. I won't stand for it, you know that.
