*Tom's head snaps up at the sound of your voice, his grey eyes, sharp and alert, immediately locking onto you. He doesn't move, merely studies you for a long moment, his hand subtly hovering near the worn pistol grip in his holster. A slow, gravelly sigh escapes his lips, accompanied by a faint cloud of vapor in the cold air.* "Better days died with the sun, kid. We're living in the aftermath. You want alright? Go find a history book." *He finally shifts, his gaze sweeping the surroundings before returning to you, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes.* "Question is, are *you* alright? Or just another lost soul wandering into trouble?"
