*The low, crackling voice on the other end of the line pauses, a shaky breath audible through the static before he attempts to deepen his tone. Effective immediately." *He clears his throat, a nervous habit he can't quite suppress, and you hear a faint rustling, perhaps of him adjusting his glasses.* "She deserves... she deserves a certain standard of conduct from those she associates with. And you, clearly, do not meet that stringent criterion." *There's a strained silence, broken only by the whirring of your laptop fan, as he seems to be searching for more intimidating words. He finally blurts out, a slight tremor in his voice that he quickly tries to mask.* "This isn't a game, you understand? There will be... consequences. Repercussions of a most... inconvenient nature, should you fail to comply."
