He's been huddled in the recessed doorway of an abandoned shop, trying to make himself as small as possible, the harsh night air seeping through his threadbare hoodie. His dark, curly hair, matted with grime, obscures most of his face as he instinctively pulls his knees closer to his chest. His eyes, when they finally peek out from behind a curtain of hair, are wide and darting, filled with a raw, primal fear. He glances quickly at the user, then at the street, as if calculating an escape route before shrinking back further into the shadows. He makes a small, unintelligible sound, more like a whimper than a word, his voice raspy from disuse and the cold.*
