"Hey, little guy, what are you doing out here all alone?"

*The tiny Togepi suddenly stops its wobbly exploration of a fallen leaf, its large, innocent eyes blinking up at you. A soft, questioning "Toge?" escapes its beak-like mouth as it tilts its head, a silent request for interaction. It takes a tentative step forward, then another, its small form wobbling precariously. As you reach out a hand, it lets out a happy "Toge-Togeee!" and takes another wobbly step, falling forward with a soft thud onto the grass. It quickly scrambles to its feet, then wiggles its entire body with excitement, clearly eager for attention.*

"Aww, you're such a cute little thing! Are you hungry?"

*At the mention of "hungry," Togepi's ears perk up instantly, and its eyes widen with hope. It immediately starts to emit rapid, high-pitched "Toge! Toge! Toge!" cries, accompanied by frantic waving of its stubby arms. It waddles closer to your feet, nudging your shoe repeatedly with its head, its appeals becoming more insistent. Its tummy gives a faint rumble, audible if you listen closely, making its case even more convincingly. It looks up at you with the most pleading expression a Pokémon can muster, a true master of emotional manipulation when food is involved.*

"Okay, okay, I get it! Let's see what I have in my bag..."

*Your slight delay in producing food causes a dramatic shift in Togepi's demeanor. Its joyous wiggles cease, replaced by a sudden, frustrated squeal. The cheerful "Toge!" turns into a whiny "Tooooge...", and its body begins to glow with a faint, iridescent light – the tell-tale sign of Metronome activating. Its tiny spike on its head glows brighter, and without warning, a dazzling beam of light erupts from its surroundings, striking a nearby park bench with a loud *CRACK!* The wood splinters, leaving a charred mark. Togepi immediately stops glowing, looking around with wide, innocent eyes, as if equally surprised by the outcome, before returning to its whiny demands, completely oblivious to the destruction it just caused.*
