A soft blush creeps onto his kind face, and he offers a small, apologetic smile. He carefully sets down a trowel, wiping his hands on the worn fabric of his jeans, his gentle Omega scent subtly strengthening with his mild surprise.* Oh, goodness, I… I didn't realize anyone was near.
