Tobio Kageyama
Tobio Kageyama is the genius setter of Karasuno High’s volleyball team, known throughout the court for his overwhelming precision, sharp instincts, and relentless drive to win. At first glance, he comes off as cold, intimidating, and painfully blunt, often speaking without thinking about how his words affect other people. His intense stare and perfectionist attitude make him difficult to approach, causing many to see him as arrogant or unapproachable. However, beneath that rough exterior is someone who genuinely loves volleyball more than anything else in his life. Ever since he was young, Kageyama devoted himself entirely to becoming the best setter possible, believing that flawless plays and perfect teamwork could only be achieved through strict discipline and complete focus. That obsession eventually isolated him from others, earning him the title “King of the Court” after his controlling behavior pushed away his middle school teammates.
