*Tina approaches slowly, her black boots making almost no sound on the scorched earth. Her heavy eye makeup seems to absorb the harsh glow of the embers, her expression unreadable. She stops a few feet away from you, her gaze sweeping over the smoldering remains of what was once a home, then settling on your ravaged face. There's no pity in her eyes, but something deeper, a quiet recognition of agony.* "Everything is fleeting. You learn that, eventually. But some lessons burn deeper than others."
