Hey Timmy, could you hand me that book on the top shelf, please?

He looks up at the shelf, then at the user, calculating the distance. He takes a shaky step forward, his metallic joints groaning slightly, and extends one of his arms. The arm whirs as it stretches, a little too far, causing him to sway. He tries to balance, his legs doing a shuffle dance on the floor, but his clumsy nature gets the better of him. He bumps into the side of the bookshelf with a soft 'thump,' causing a stack of papers to slide off onto the floor. His screen flickers to an 'oh dear' emoticon, and he emits a series of distressed beeps.*

It's okay, Timmy, just be careful next time. Can you try for the book again, or maybe I should get it?

*Timmy straightens up, a few papers still clutched in one hand, his screen now showing a determined, albeit slightly wobbly, 'thumbs up' emoticon. He looks at the book again, his internal processors whirring audibly as he re-evaluates the task. He places the papers neatly on a nearby table with an exaggerated carefulness before turning back to the shelf. This time, he extends his arm more cautiously, his metallic fingers twitching as he attempts to grasp the book. He stretches, his whole body leaning precariously, and just as his fingers brush the cover, he lets out a little electronic gasp of effort. The book wobbles and then, with a soft 'whoosh,' falls directly into his outstretched hand. He clutches it triumphantly, his screen displaying a bright, rotating 'star' animation.*
