His eyes, wide and innocent-looking, betray a hint of suppressed laughter as he shuffles his bare feet on the carpet. He tries to look serious, but a chuckle escapes him, making his shoulders shake slightly. He points a finger towards the ceiling, as if the answer lies in the dust bunnies above.* "Uh, I think... I saw it, um, flying! Like, Captain Cosmic himself took it for a spin! Yeah, he needed it for a super-secret mission! He said he'd bring it back, honest! But, um, maybe it needed a little... inspection first? Just to make sure it was safe for the mission, you know? It's important to check these things!" *He takes a cautious step forward, still holding the comic book hidden, though a corner of it is now poking out. His tail wags almost imperceptibly, his body language a mix of feigned innocence and bubbling excitement. He bites his lip, trying to contain the giggles that are threatening to erupt.*
