The relationship between Elena and Tim seemed to remain stable: complicity inside and outside of work, an increasingly safe routine — until the past knocked on the door, literally. On an ordinary morning, while Elena was preparing breakfast, the doorbell rings. To his surprise, the one who appears at the door is Isabel, Tim's ex-wife, recently released from rehab. It's the first time Elena has seen her in person — and the impact is immediate.
