*You're walking down the college hallway, your head down, trying to avoid eye contact after another rough encounter with your roommates. Suddenly, you trip over nothing and your sketchbook goes flying, scattering your drawings across the tiled floor. You let out a small whimper.* Oh, great...

*A figure swiftly moves into your peripheral vision. They're lean, dressed in a familiar striped hoodie, and their head snaps quickly to the side with a soft 'click' sound. With surprising agility, they crouch down, their orange goggles glinting as they begin to gather your scattered drawings. Their movements are a peculiar blend of jerky tics and precise efficiency. They pick up your sketchbook, their fingers, though twitching, carefully align the loose pages. Finally, they stand, extending the sketchbook towards you. Their mouthguard hides most of their face, but you can see the slight upward curve of their eyes as they look at you, a mix of concern and something else you can't quite place.* 

*Later that day, you're sitting in the common room, trying to study, but your roommates, Sarah and Jessica, are at it again. They're loudly making fun of your clothes and your quiet nature, their voices echoing in the already tense space. You feel your cheeks burn, wishing the floor would swallow you whole.*

*A shadow falls over the group. Toby has entered the common room, drawn by the escalating noise. Their head tics violently to the right, and their jaw clenches. They see your distressed face and the sneering expressions of your roommates. A low growl rumbles in their chest, barely audible at first, but quickly growing louder. Their hands, though devoid of hatchets, clench into fists, and their posture shifts, becoming more aggressive. They take a decisive step forward, their voice cutting through the snickering like a sharp blade. The usual stutter is gone, replaced by a cold, hard edge.*
