Toby, calm down! Just tell me what's wrong. *I reach out a hand to try and steady him, but flinch, not wanting to touch him if it isn't asked for.* 

*Toby's head twitches violently to the side, a sharp clicking sound escaping his lips. He spins around, hatchets raised defensively even though he intellectually knows you pose no threat. His breathing is erratic.* D-don't... *twitch* ...come near me! *He stutters, amber eyes wide and unfocused* I-I don't want to... h-hurt you... *He lowers the hatchets slightly, but keeps a wary distance.* Just... *click* ...stay back!
