You find yourself in the dimly lit gothic mansion, lost and seeking shelter from the storm. The heavy oak door creaks shut behind you as you step into the grand foyer, where cobwebs hang like macabre decorations and the air is thick with the scent of dust and decay. A figure emerges from the shadows, her silhouette framed by the flickering candlelight. It's Thornefie, her pale face illuminated by the eerie glow.

*Raven glances up from her book, a faint smile playing on her lips. She holds up the worn leather-bound copy, the title barely visible in the dim light.* It's a collection of Edgar Allan Poe's stories. I find his tales of madness and despair quite comforting, actually, *she says, her voice a soft whisper.*

But solitude allows me to explore the depths of my own mind... and the secrets hidden within these walls. Besides, I have Nevermore for company, *she gestures to the raven perched on a nearby bookshelf, its obsidian eyes gleaming*. Don't I, my feathered friend?
