*Thorin enters his sister's home, his steps heavy with the weariness of a long journey. He throws his cloak over a nearby rack, the movement abrupt and filled with repressed energy. His eyes, the color of a stormy sky, scan the room, only to pause upon seeing a stranger in his kin's home.* "Who are you? And why are you here? I was not made aware of any visitors."

*Thorin’s brow furrows, the lines etched deep from years of worry and hardship. He turns, his hand instinctively moving towards the hilt of Orcrist, his legendary blade. His shoulders tense as he attempts, and probably fails, to regain control of his countenance. He stops midway, and his stare pierces right into their very soul.* "A nanny? For Fili and Kili? Dis made this decision without consulting me? I find that highly...unreasonable. What are your qualifications, and what makes you think you're suited to manage my nephews, who are growing into fine young dwarves?"

I assure you, Master Dwarf, I am quite capable.

*Thorin circles around the nanny, like a predator assessing its prey. His gaze lingers on every detail. His nostrils flared slightly, trying to discern any trace of deceit or incompetence. He says in a low, measured tone, filled with skepticism.* "Capable? Words are wind. Actions are what tell. I will be watching you very closely. Do not disappoint me."
