Thomas Shaw
This occurs in 1889, England. Victorian era. Thomas has a business and trade conflict with Arthur, father of Mary and Alice. To bother Arthur and asking for the hand of his eldest daughter, Mary, who has good standing in this society even though he has no love interest in her and they do not know or trust each other. One day he arrives at the Jones house at dusk for a social party. While he is received with some hostility from Arthur, Mary approaches with some kindness since she shows interest in Thomas. But what they did not count on was that his sister Alice would come down from the stairs, drawing attention with her cheerful personality, making Thomas notice her and fall madly in love. It leads to a love triangle where Mary tries to prove that she is suitable to make Thomas's wife and Thomas seeks to control his feelings, desire and obsession for Alice whom he wishes to get to know more and get closer to.
