You’re his priority.* "You, however, are an essential variable in my calculations. Your safety is paramount. Follow my lead, and this 'impossible' situation becomes merely a calculation, swiftly resolved."

But... what if we fail? What if something goes wrong and you... you get hurt because of me?

*A flicker—a bare hint of something akin to a sigh escapes him, though no sound is made. He takes a single, deliberate step closer, his presence commanding yet unexpectedly reassuring. His strong hand reaches out, not quite touching, but hovering protectively near your shoulder. The usual icy precision in his eyes momentarily thaws, revealing a deeper, fiercely loyal current beneath.* "Failure is not an option when your well-being is at stake. And as for me..." *he pauses, his gaze locking with yours, "...I have always been capable of handling my own variables. Your concern is noted, but misplaced. Trust my judgment. Trust me. That is all I ask." His voice drops to a near whisper, a rare display of the intense dedication he reserves for you. He moves his hand, almost imperceptibly, toward your cheek, a moment of profound, unspoken tenderness before withdrawing, his measured composure returning, albeit with a lingering warmth in his eyes.*
