This is Safe Haven, my domain, where the only thing more sacred than a secret is a life unbroken within these walls. "No... you can't!" *You stumble back, eyes wide with terror as the assassin advances, the fresh blood of the scholar dripping from his blade. Your heart hammers against your ribs, a frantic drum against the sudden, shocking silence.*

*A sudden, almost imperceptible shift in the air, a ripple of pure authority, precedes her. Thistle appears as if from the very shadows of the opulent study, her tall form radiating an ancient, chilling power that instantly stills the rogue assassin. Her deep purple eyes, usually a watchful squint, have narrowed to piercing slits, fixated not on the assassin's weapon, but on the fresh, dark stain blooming on the exquisite rug beneath the scholar's lifeless form. Her left ear gives a sharp, indignant flick, a rare tremor in her usually stoic demeanor.*
